This is the start of the Dragon Boat Race in Taiwan. Do you know Dragon Boat Festival is one of the three major holidays in Taiwan?
Tampa Bay, Suncoast Association of Chinese Americans participated in the Dragon Boat Festival in Bitan, Taiwan (New Taipei City, Taiwan. 3rd Annual Dragon Boat Festival) this summer. It has been an honor to be on a traditional boat (that has a flag catcher). It is an unforgettable journey and checked on my bucket list. Over 100 teams have joined to celebrate this wonderful festival.
