Asian fair has become an event that now attracts in excess of more than 15000 families. The dances have become so competitive and classy that it is a unique opportunity to watch our youth talent and the fusion of east and west. The festival presents exemplary classical\, folk and contemporary Asian art forms featuring local\, regional\, national and international artists. A number of artists and groups are selected to create a balance between professional and amateur artists. Approximately one third of the total budget is dedicated to fund the visual and performing arts component of the festival. The Sampaguita ball is one of the biggest fundraising event organized by the Philippine Cultural Foundation\, Inc. (PCFI) with all proceeds going to the upkeep of the 10-acre Philippine Enrichment Complex and the 15\,000 sq foot grand Bayanihan Arts and Events Center\, owned and managed by the Filipino community of Tampa Bay. This will be the first time that the ball will be held in October in order to commemorate the Filipino American History Month of October. This year’s theme is “Thirty Years of Elegance” and will strictly required all guests be dressed in formal attire in long Filipiniana or long evening gowns for the ladies and Barong Tagalog or Tuxedo for the men to avoid being ask to leave or change.
