Cities like Sydney\, London\, New York\, Los Angeles\, and San Francisco have held many successful Lunar New Year Parades that attract thousands of attendees each year. \nThe Year of the Pig marks the 8th annual Central Florida Dragon Parade Lunar New Year Festival held in Orlando\, Florida. This event has received overwhelming response from local and distant communities alike.   Again this year\, Asia Trend Magazine is partnering with Mills 50 (an Orlando Main Street District)\, R.E.A.C.H. (Recognizing Educating Asian Cultural Heritage) and Y.E.S.S. (Youth Enrichment and Senior Services) to host the Dragon Parade Lunar New Year Festival on Sunday\, February 17 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at 728 N. Thornton Ave.\, Orlando\, FL 32803. \nThe festival parade starts at the corner of N Thornton Ave and Oregon St and will end at N. Thornton Ave and Colonial Drive. DESCRIPTION:The Filipino Student Association at the University of Central Florida invites you to celebrate the 13th Annual Sayaw Cultural Showcase! \n“Mabuhay Sayaw!” translates to “Long-Live Dance!”. In celebration of FSA’s 25th Anniversary\, watch as we come back to our cultural roots while we welcome the future of FSA! Experience Pegasus Ballroom like you’ve never seen it before\, in your home away from home! \nWe will also be partnering up with Answering the Cry of the Poor (ANCOP) Foundation\, which provides children and families in the Philippines education and shelter that they never would have been able to afford without the donation of others. With your help\, all donations to Sayaw will be used to help change a family’s life! \nThis is FSA’s biggest event of the year! Come out to Pegasus Ballroom on March 25th and enjoy FREE cultural food\, participate in FREE raffles for AMAZING prizes\, and a lively show! Stay tuned to find out our SPECIAL guest performer! \nLastly\, this annual Sayaw event is for all ages and ethnicities and is open to anyone and everyone\, so feel free to invite any friends and family! DESCRIPTION:Hello everyone! \nThe excitement has started for our upcoming annual “PhilFest 2018!” Vendors and entertainment are being finalized as well as the competition for all member organizations in raising funds for the Philippine Cultural Foundation\, Inc. (PCFI) 2018 budget for the foundations cultural projects in order to continue in it’s goal to preserve the Philippine culture for generations to come! And also for the maintenance of our 10-acre property the Philippine Enrishment Complex and the beautiful  Bayanihan Arts & Events Center. Member organizations have chosen their muse who will represent them in this year’s PhilFest each hoping to win the crown of “Mrs/Ms. PhilFest 2018″ based on which organization has the most advance and raffle ticket sales and collected donations combined. \nSo\, if you are free on Friday\, March 16th\, why not join us for a fun fund raising event at the Bayanihan Arts center organized the Pilipino-American Association of Tampa Bay (PAAT)\, as we present our 2018 PAAT muse EMMA BARRIDO and dance the whole night long!!!! We will have DI’s to lead line dancing\, ballroom dancers to show their beauty in dancing the cha-cha\, rumba\, samba\, waltz! For those who love country music\, we will also have country line dancing! How about Hula line dancing! As always\, PAAT guarantees it is going to be fun\, fun\, fun!!!! \nSo\, mark your calendars…….“LET’S DANCE” on Friday\, March 16th 2018 starting at 6:30 pm at the Bayanihan Center. $30 donation includes dinner\, DJ music and all night dancing!!! \nAll proceeds goes to the PHILIPPINE CULTURAL FOUNDATION\, INC. \nSee you all! \nJoey Omila \n(on behalf of our newly elected President Jonathan Sibayan) \n
