This event has received overwhelming response from local and distant communities alike.   Again this year\, Asia Trend Magazine is partnering with Mills 50 (an Orlando Main Street District)\, R.E.A.C.H. (Recognizing Educating Asian Cultural Heritage) and Y.E.S.S. (Youth Enrichment and Senior Services) to host the Dragon Parade Lunar New Year Festival on Sunday\, February 25 from 11:00am to 5:00pm at 728 N. Thornton Ave.\, Orlando\, FL 32803. \nThe festival parade starts at the corner of N Thornton Ave and Oregon St and will end at N. Thornton Ave and Colonial Drive. DESCRIPTION:The Chinese New Year Celebration will be on Feb. 11\, 2017 at Largo Central Park\, Largo FL. This is a very large outdoor festival. Last year\, the attendance was estimated to be around 2500 people. The admission is FREE. All are welcome. There were 21 food / craft vendors last year. There will be a large stage for performances including Lion and Dragon dances\, martial arts demo\, Chinese instruments demo (in partnership with USF Confucius Institute)\, children craft booth and bouncing houses\, LeLe (SACA Panda) photo booth\, free health screening provided by USF Medical School students\, and much more.
