This event has received overwhelming response from local and distant communities alike.   Again this year\, Asia Trend Magazine is partnering with Mills 50 (an Orlando Main Street District)\, R.E.A.C.H. (Recognizing Educating Asian Cultural Heritage) and Y.E.S.S. (Youth Enrichment and Senior Services) to host the Dragon Parade Lunar New Year Festival on Sunday\, February 17 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at 728 N. Thornton Ave.\, Orlando\, FL 32803. \nThe festival parade starts at the corner of N Thornton Ave and Oregon St and will end at N. Thornton Ave and Colonial Drive. DESCRIPTION:From October 26 to 29\, St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society\, Inc. (SPIFFS) and its ethnic member groups present the 43rd Annual International Folk Fair at Vinoy Park on St. Petersburg’s beautiful waterfront\, transforming it into a microcosm of the world. \nFolk Fair offers a multitude of special entertainment in the form of dancing\, singing and drumming by more than thirty ethnic groups. Enjoy cooking demonstrations\, breathtaking music from Mongolia\, featuring a beautiful instrument called Horse Head Violin (Morin Khuur)\, Polynesian dancers plus folk music and dancing from around the world. Be sure not to miss the Grand Parade of Nations at 2:00 pm on Saturday\, when members of the many SPIFFS ethnic groups will parade around the park\, led by colorful bands\, pipers and drummers. The parade will be followed by a swearing-in ceremony of new citizens. \n
