DESCRIPTION:OCPA to Host Landmark 30th Anniversary Year of the Horse Gala at Orange County Convention Center \n\nThe Greater Orlando Chinese Professionals Association (OCPA) will commemorate its 30th anniversary with its largest-ever Lunar New Year celebration at the Chapin Theater at the Orange County Convention Center on Sunday\, March 1\, 2026. This year’s theme\, “Our Story\,” transforms the traditional variety show into a narrative journey reflecting the experience of Chinese families moving to Orlando to pursue their dreams\, engaging with local schools and deepening their ties to the community through cultural activities and celebrations.\n\n\n\nThe festivities will begin with a Cultural Festival from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.\, featuring art competitions and exhibits\, Chinese calligraphy\, lantern making\, traditional riddle games\, and local entrepreneur showcases\, immediately followed by the “Our Story” Gala production from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.\n\n\n\n\nThe gala features a prestigious lineup\, including Peking Opera artist Jie Yu\, soprano Lillian Guo (Carnegie Hall performer)\, CCTV Hip Hop champion Yang Li\, and renowned flutist Changkui Tang. They will be joined by the Lake Highland High School Orchestra\, along with a diverse array of local dance\, martial arts\, and community groups.\n\n\n\n\nThis year marks a historic milestone for OCPA.
