Taiwanese tennis player Tseng Chun-hsin (曾俊欣) won the men’s singles title at the 2022 Murcia Open in Spain on April 10.
The event was the third edition of the tournament and part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour.
Tseng, 20, defeated Slovak player Norbert Gombos 6-4, 6-1
Tseng first played tennis at the age of five encouraged by his parents who run a stall at a night market in New Taipei that sells tanghulu, a sweet treat made of glazed fruit and tomatoes on a stick.
As a result, Tseng is dubbed the “Night Market Champion” in Taiwan.
