The annual Japanese Spring Festival returns on Sunday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to Miami Beach Botanical Garden, located at 2000 Convention Center Dr. in Miami Beach. Enjoy Taiko drumming performances by Fushu Daiko, Ikebana workshops, origami lessons, authentic Japanese tea ceremonies, a children’s arts corner with storytelling, anime vendors and more. A highlight of this year’s festival is the kimono fashion show, which will begin at 1 p.m. Sponsored by the Consulate-General of Japan in Miami, the wedding-themed fashion show will feature a variety of kimonos including a Hikifurisode and an Uchikake, formal bridal kimonos worn by a woman on her wedding day.
