AAPI Town Hall

On behalf of ACT we are excited to invite you to a first ever AAPI Town Hall on Monday, June 27, from 6 pm to 7:30pm at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office at 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, FL 32806.

The AAPI community is projected to become the largest immigrant group by 2055. We are a powerful voting block with eleven million eligible voters nationally.

In spite of this the AAPI community is underrepresented. AAPI members make up just 0.9 percent of elected leaders across all levels. This needs to change. This very dynamic gave birth to ACT. This upcoming Town Hall is our first step in creating a platform for the Metro Orlando AAPI community to express your thoughts on how to enhance AAPI Voter engagement.

By the end of the Town Hall we all will have a shared value on what ACT is all about, a much better understanding of what’s on your mind and most importantly how we can collectively amplify the AAPI voice in the political process.
