Diwali is celebrated by millions of people around the world, including Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs. Diwali is also known as the “Festival of Lights” and is a celebration of the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
Diwali is a five-day festival that takes place annually in the second half of October or the first half of November. The exact date varies each year because it’s based on the Hindu lunar calendar and the new moon.
The Indian community in Central Florida celebrated Diwali with cultural performances and a sense of community.
