The 2025 Creative Expo Taiwan (CET) successfully concluded on Aug. 11, marking several new milestones—including its largest exhibition space to date, and record highs in the number of exhibitors, booths, and international participants.

According to the Ministry of Culture (MOC), the event welcomed 650,000 visitors and generated a total transaction amount of NT$1.35 billion, representing a 12.5% increase from last year’s NT$1.2 billion.
Returning to Taipei this year, the CET brought its Brand and Licensing Exhibition to the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, a venue offering larger space and convenient public transportation.

In addition to showcasing original Taiwanese character intellectual properties (IPs), the exhibition featured 650 international brands from Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the U.S., and Poland, with more than 930 booths on display.
The debut IP-Star Pop Park, highlighting 34 original Taiwanese IPs, presented diverse possibilities for business applications and drew strong interest from visitors.
The CET also facilitated a networking opportunity, attracting nearly 180 international buyers through various matchmaking events. These interactions culminated in over 1,400 business meetings, underscoring the vibrant, dynamic market for IP licensing and creative branding.

Meanwhile, CET’s cultural curation, titled “Water Scapes,” took place at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. It comprised four thematic sections: The Spirit of Waters, The Island of Seascapes, The Realm of Mist, and Taiwan as Endless Streams. With over 125 activities, including seminars, forums, performances, workshops, and tours, the program attracted over 2,400 attendees.
The MOC expressed gratitude to event partners and visitors for their support and patience, and announced that next year’s edition will once again be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
