Asia Trend / YESS center hosted the first free monthly health seminar <Heart to Heart Talk> with Dr. Puxiao Cen on May 17. Over 70 attendees received valuable information about heart disease prevention. Dr Cen also answered many questions in both Chinese and English. Free lunch was provided to seniors over aged 55, sponsored by Chan’s Chinese Cuisine and China Garden Restaurant, Winter Park. Social activities such as line dance, mahjong, chess games, karaoke, and table tennis started right after the seminar till 6pm. Asia Trend / YESS center opens to the public every Sunday from 1pm to 5pm. Next monthly health seminar will be about pain management and DIY acupressure by Larry Han from Florida College of Integrative Medicine on August 16. More details, please visit www.yessfl.org.

Asia Trend Community Learning Center is to educate, connect and engage the community about the history, cultures and emerging business opportunities of Asia through partnership. Youth Enrichment and Senior Services is to provide academic enrichment and life skills to youth and to provide counseling services and programs to enhance the quality of life style and the general well-being of seniors.
