The event will feature cultural performances from a variety of AAPI ethnic groups. It will also have a variety of food, retail vendors  and non-profit organizations from Asia and the Pacific Islands. In addition, AAPI owned and operated businesses and targeting AAPI demographics will be exhibiting.

The MAAPIC is building on last year’s successful event held at Water Works Park. That event drew an estimated crowd of 750. This year’s attendance is expected to be approximately about 2000.

The MAAPIC hope to make this an annual festival in May –Asian Pacific Islander Heritage month and look forward to building a stronger diverse community.
