Experience the Vibrant Taiwanese Lunar New Year Celebration

The Taiwanese Association of America Greater Orlando ( TAAGO 大奧蘭多台灣同鄉會 ) hosted a Lunar New Year Celebration at the Amerasia Bank Event Center on February 1st, the fourth day of the Lunar New Year. More than 200 people attended this festive event with a Taiwanese theme.

Traditional Taiwanese cuisine was provoided by Sno Tea Caffé UCF, OEC Taiwanese Cuisine, Umi Yumi, and Sun Pearl Bakery. Boba tea was generously donated by Frosty Fox and tangyuan dessert donated by Ms Kao for everyone to enjoy. The entertainment included Chinese Yoyo performance by Nancy Chung and Torsten Stock, as well as an Erhu musical performance by Wanlong Chen that kept the audience entertained. There were also fun games and raffle prizes for attendees to win.

The event was made possible with the help of TAAGO board of directors, and volunteers from UCF Taiwanese students. It was a great way to celebrate the Lunar New Year and bring the Taiwanese community together in Orlando.
