On February 8th, the Consulate General of Japan in Miami and the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens collaborated with Kimono Mom to invite her to partake in the Sado Tea Demonstration.
Dozens of guests attended, ecstatic to see Kimono Mom perform this Japanese traditional tea ceremony and learn more about Japanese culture through the demonstration. The consulate staff members were delighted to view such a masterful practice of the tea ceremony by Kimono Mom as well as the attentive support provided by the Morikami members. Following the tea ceremony, Kimono Mom participated in a Q&A and stayed to take photos and converse with the event attendees, who lined up enthusiastically.
Afterwards, along with the Miami Consulate and Morikami staff members, Kimono Mom strolled the garden grounds and further discussed her upcoming collaborations throughout Florida and the United States to continue to promote Japanese culture throughout each of her stops on her RV Road Trip!
