Asian Fair has become one of the most popular Asian cultural events in the United States. Asian fair was first hosted in 1992 at Morikami park, Delray beach, Florida. This year will be 30th Asian trade, food fair & cultural show. Due to its ongoing success and continued growth of the Asian population in the US, many cities now host their own Asian Festival. However none so far surpass the magnitude of the South Florida’s Asian Fair which has become tradition for Asian community. The standard has been set and each year the bar continues to rise. Asian fair has become an event that now attracts in excess of more than 15000 families. The dances have become so competitive and classy that it is a unique opportunity to watch our youth talent and the fusion of east and west. The festival presents exemplary classical, folk and contemporary Asian art forms featuring local, regional, national and international artists. A number of artists and groups are selected to create a balance between professional and amateur artists. Approximately one third of the total budget is dedicated to fund the visual and performing arts component of the festival. Although dances are the highlight, the variety of food ,cultural items as well as wide array of fashion clothing and jewelry displayed by vendors, attracts a wide cross section of tourist and American alike.
