Please join us at the Asian Film Festival at TAMPA THEATER this Saturday, May 18th for the showing of the award winning documovie “FOOD ROOTS” in commemoration of the Asian American Pacific Islander month of May!
There will be a red carpet socializing hour at 6 pm at the Tampa Theater lobby for anybody who wants to join, immediately followed by the documovie “FOOD ROOTS” at 7 pm!
FOOD ROOTS is about Bill Dec is a Filipino-American who grew up in Chicago and owner of the new Asian fusion restaurant in Tampa called SUNDA, journeys all over the Philippines to learn about his roots and the culinary treasures of the Filipinos.
The Asian Film Festival is a project of the Tampa Mayor’s Asian Pacific Islander Advisory Council.
There will also be the showing of “KUNG FU PANDA 4” at 4 pm prior to FOOD ROOTS.
