Save the date for our Second Annual Asian Food Festival on Saturday, June 18 from 5 – 9 p.m. in Hemming Park in Downtown Jacksonville.
Enjoy authentic Asian and Asian-inspired dishes from Cely’s Filipino Food, Fusion Food Truck, F3rd Food Truck, Abstrakt FE, Danilo’s Famous Lumpia, Blazin Azn, GuanaBana Ice Pops and more. Plus imported Asian beers like Lucky Buddha Beer, Tiger Beer, Red Horse Beer and more. We’ll also have games and entertainment for the whole family.
From 5 – 7 p.m. Ashley Fordan, a recent graduate of UNF who was an executive board member for the Filipino Student Association and member of UNF A.S.I.A., will be performing hula dances while her friend Kalani Rose plays a mixture of old schools classics, Island vibes and top 40 on her ukele. From 7 – 9 p.m. we’ll switch it up to CJ Fluharty Music!
The Mayor’s Asian American Advisory Board will also be hosting their annual Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration in the Jacksonville Main Library Conference Center on June 18. Enjoy an expo of local Asian businesses, vendors, artists and sponsors from 5 – 7 p.m.
The above events are free, family-friendly and open to the public. On-street parking is free on the weekends in Downtown Jacksonville, or you can use the public lot on Duval St. between Laura & Ashley.
