Kimono Dressing Workshop at Winter Park

This unique event offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in traditional Japanese culture and learn about how to wear the most traditional of Japanese garments – the kimono.
The ceremonial kimono consists of many layers and is famously difficult to put on, a professional instructor – Satomi Hirano will demonstrate the traditional kimono and then dress each participant in summer yukata while sharing about the history and art of kimono dressing.
Once dressed in a summer yukata kimono, you will have the chance to capture the moment using a complimentary photo booth provided by Mary Fosky Photography.
