The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. welcomes back the sensational Leyte Dance Theater in “Padayaw”, a dance showcase featuring the beauty of Philippine culture as LDT continues the legacy of its founder, Maestro Jesus “Jess” de Paz. This show will be held at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center’s Grand Sampaguita Ballroom on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 3:00 PM. This will also be PCFI’s Philippine Independence Day offering in lieu of the Philippine Independence Day Celebration scheduled on the same date.

“Padayaw” is Leyte Dance Theater’s production offering for its 2023 USA tour. The term is derived from “Padayon sa Pagsayaw”, meaning continue dancing. The last time that group visited the Tampa Bay Area was in April of 2018, when it presented “Salida”. Since then, Maestro Jess unfortunately passed away and the pandemic happened.
