Central Floridians with memories of the Vietnam War, especially veterans of the war and Vietnamese Americans, are invited to share your history and become part of the History Center’s permanent collection.
This special program is presented with WUCF TV, Central Florida’s PBS station, in association with WUCF’s September presentation of The Vietnam War, a new documentary series by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick.
Participants are invited to
• Bring photos, documents or objects related to Vietnam
• Record your oral history
Original artifacts donated to the History Center’s archives will be preserved in a climate-controlled environment, and you will receive a digital scan to keep. If you prefer to take your original home, a digital scan can be made and catalogued in the History Center’s archives. Artifacts may be used for an exhibit opening in Fall 2017.
Participants receive free admission to the museum.
