The Seattle University Vietnamese Student Association (SUVSA) proudly presents its biggest event of the year – our 11th Annual Xuân Festival (Spring Festival)!
Join us for a night of Vietnamese cuisine and student performances, including dancing, singing, and story-telling. We invite you and your family to come celebrate our Vietnamese culture as we explore our identity and the meaning of Tôi Là Người Việt Nam.
All profits derived from this event will be donated to UNAVSA 2015-2016’s Collective Philanthropy Project: Kids Without Borders.

ABOUT KIDS WITHOUT BORDERS
Founded in 2001, Kids Without Borders (KWB) is an ‘all-volunteer’ international non-governmental organization based in Washington State. KWB’s international work has reached more than 30 countries, with the majority of the programs and projects in Viet Nam. Over the last 14 years, KWB has provided support for the most needy population in Viet Nam, orphans and children with disabilities linked to Agent Orange. 100% of their work is made possible by their team of dedicated volunteers from countries around the world.
Proposed Project: “Teach Me To Fish”
The situation: Orphans leave the care of the orphanage at the age of eighteen.
Our focus: An exit plan for life after the orphanage.
Reality: Many would end up living in poverty, becoming victim of crime, being trafficked, forced marriage…
Opportunity: Provide these orphans with better chance to become healthy, functional, and productive adults.
