On April 29, About a hundred people joined the local Tai Chi groups to celebrate the World Tai Chi and Qigong Day in The Villages, FL. Event organized by Ms Grace Liu, Orlando HanQing Taiji Culture and Art Center participated along with all of the Villages Tai Chi Groups at Sumter Landing, The Villages.
World Tai Chi and Qigong Day, is an annual event held the last Saturday of April, people in countries all over the world celebrate World Tai Chi Day at 10:00 am local time.
Tai Chi is believed to boost the immune system, slow the aging process, lower high blood pressure, relieve stress, and improve balance and coordination. Harvard Medical School has stated that tai chi is one of the 5 “best exercises you can ever do.”
