Let’s enjoy reading another wonderful fable from ‘8 Elephants & A Dreaming Dragon’

MOUNTAIN FULL OF CARROTS

8 elephants wished to hide the key to the treasure box so the dreaming dragon would not find it.

The 1st elephant said: let’s hide it inside the drawer.

So the 8th elephant said: No, no,  no, she will find it there.

The 2nd elephant said: Let’s hide in under the rug.

So the 8th said: No, no, no, she will find it there.

The 3rd elephant said: Let’s hide behind the painting.

So the 8th said: No, no, no, she will find it there.

All asked the 8th elephant: Please tell us, where to hide the key?

The 8th elephant said: Let’s hide it inside one of the chairs then we play musical chairs and each in its turn will take a chair and place it inside one of the house’s rooms.

So they played, and one by one they took each a chair and placed them in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in bedrooms 1,2,3,4,5 and even in the study room.

The 8th elephant said: Let’s hide it inside one of the chairs then we play musical chairs and each in its turn will take a chair and place it inside one of the house’s rooms.

Wait! Wait! Wait!

Said the dreaming dragon, where are you all going with the chairs, hiding the key inside one of them, I heard it all.

The dreaming dragon looked all around the house and found 7 of the chairs but didn’t find the key.

When she got to the study room she found the 8th chair. There was a rabbit beside it and the chair was broken.

What happened? She asked.

The rabbit said: I sat on the chair and it broke.

What? And did you find a key inside? She asked.

The rabbit said: Yes, I found and then I opened the treasure box and exchanged the golden coins with carrots, a mountain of carrots so now all the rabbits in my village can enjoy carrots.

What? Carrots!?

Wait! Where are you going?” the dreaming dragon opened one eye and then the other to see that the rabbit was gone.

‘Was it a dream or not?!’ thought the dreaming dragon and closed her eyes again.

‘Was it a dream or not?!’ thought the dreaming dragon and closed her eyes again.

By the author:

Did you like these elephants? What about the rabbit?

Now I will leave you to think: Who is the rabbit? Who are these 8 elephants? Why do they wish to hide the key? Is there a dreaming dragon inside each of us and how to wake him/her up?

Morality and message:

  •     Sharing carrots (and bananas) is caring!
  •     When there is trust – dreams come true!
  •     Life is a dream, and dreams… are also dreams!

Apart of altruistic attitude towards others at the level of our thought, we can also practice altruistic action – as sharing with others our knowledge about the purpose of life and about how to implement it and as – The more you give – The more you become.

If we shared the importance of this awareness toward Giving to others and now they share even some of it, recognizing the problem and moving toward a solution, then we caused a positive change in the same system we are all parts of. As a result, our awareness will intensify more and more and we will sure enough to feel these positive changes in our lives.

One person that amends his attitude to others is making a difference in humanity as a whole. In fact, it is possible to draw the relationship between yourself and the rest of humanity: you and all mankind are in the same system, but others depend entirely in the way you interact with them. The whole world is in your hands.

Remember! A society that values such as caring and compassion have the greatest importance soon enough becomes to be a more just society.

The 8 elephants are trying their best at all times in their own playful way. We can learn from them that it is not the idea of trying the best in maximum effort that comprise the higher value, but how do you feel regarding yourselves is the highest value. As it is not what we get that makes something valuable, but rather what we become to be, and apart of the process of becoming to be… is to see the change in you, to see all that you can do – how much you can earn, how much you can share, how fast can you start, how far can you reach, how far can you influence. We name a commitment to this kind of responsibility – the potential of changing your life.

The 8 elephants teach us the meaning of Trust, as they trust each other with the key. When there is trust in society, sustainable innovation happens because people feel safe and enabled to take risks and make the long-term commitments needed to innovate. When there is trust, people are willing to share their ideas and collaborate on each other’s inventions without fear of having their creations stolen.

The secret of the human super intelligence is at the level of connectivity and the neural connections that are created between individuals within it. Within communities – meeting daily, with shared activities and missions that unite the team members. Further to that, it is in a shared communal consciousness all over the world.

As we join together, forming networks of human concern about the future, we will find the strength and wisdom needed to create a better future for all.

Raising humanity on a new path

It all starts with YOU!

With playful regards,
