Now in its 27th year, “PhilFest 2023” will take place on March 31st, April 1st & 2nd 2023. The festival is now considered the in the whole of East Coast if not in America with more than 12,000 people from all over the State of Florida attending year after year.

PhilFest offers variety of Filipino foods, non-stop entertainment, Philippine folk dances, street parades, cultural exhibits, singing and dancing competitions and much more. One of the most popular foods in the festival worth lining up for hours are the fried “carioca balls” made of sweet rice. Coming to PhilFest is like going to the Philippines without the 21 hours flight and experiencing the Filipino hospitality they are known for. This year’s special guests will be JR and Mica Javier and Don Tagala, from ABS/CBN, one of PhilFest major sponsor.

The 3-day festival starts at 5 pm to 11 pm on Friday, April 1st, on Saturday, April 2nd from 10 am to 11 pm, and on Sunday, April 3rd from 10 am to 11 pm. Entrance is only $8 per person. Advance discounted tickets are now available but must be bought one week before the festival. Children 5 years and under enter free. Veteran’s and Servicemen with valid ID also enter free of charge. $6 Advance discounted tickets are now available in most Philippine outlet stores in Tampa Bay or by calling the Bayanihan Center at (813) 925-1232. At the gate will be $8.

“PhilFest” is an annual event organize by the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. (PCFI) a not-for-profit 501c3 cultural foundation whose purpose is to preserve the Philippine culture and traditions for future Filipino American generations to come.

The festival is held at the 10-acre Philippine Enrichment Complex located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, Florida where the spectacular “Bayanihan Arts & Events Center” is also located. This year, once again, the Bayanihan center have its annual cultural exhibits all about the Philippines. The exhibits are free to all wearing their PhilFest armbands.
