Orlando, FL – The Indian American Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (IACC) once again hosted India Day at Amway Center in Downtown Orlando. This year marks the most attended and successful year for India Day. Nearly a sell out crowd to watch the Orlando Magic vs. Miami Heat attendees enjoyed dances, street festival and topped by Bollywood superstar Govinda celebrating cultural diversity within the community.
This year marks the 8th year of a strong partnership between the Indian American Chamber of Commerce and the Orlando Magic. The event is a commemoration of India’s Republic Day, honoring the date when India’s Constitution went into effect. The IACC Orlando thanks the Orlando Magic for their continuing commitment to the 8th annual event. The NBA has recognized the India Day Celebration in Orlando as the Best Heritage Night in the NBA.
