Orlando, FL –– DHN Attorneys successfully hosted the AAPI Business Summit on September 5, 2024, bringing together over 50 business owners from the Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in Central Florida at Mamak Asian Street Food in the heart of the Mills/50 district. The event featured prominent AAPI entrepreneurs, including the owners of celebrated Orlando establishments such as Soseki, Domu, The Moderne, Seito Sushi, Qreate Coffee, TastyChomps, You & Eyes, Aculeaf Health, Gracie Jiu Jitsu, and many more. This first-of-its-kind summit aimed to foster networking, collaboration, and engagement between the AAPI business community and local government leaders.
Attorney Don Nguyen, founder of DHN Attorneys, served as the moderator for a dynamic panel discussion featuring Florida House Representative Anna Eskamani and Shally Wong, special liaison to the Orange County Mayor’s office. The panel covered essential topics for business owners, including how to effectively engage with local politicians, advocate for their interests, and leverage their collective influence to enhance the AAPI voice in the region.
