
Located in Delray Beach, Florida, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is dedicated to introducing and inspiring visitors through Japanese cultural experiences, such as workshops, cultural demonstrations, lectures, and films. The museum features rotating exhibits, authentic Japanese tea house, a bonsai collection, and 16 acres of unique gardens showcasing design elements from the 8th to 20th centuries.
On April 26th, guests had the chance to meet the official Expo 2025 Osaka mascot, Myaku Myaku, and learn more about this incredible global event, where 161+ countries will come together to shape a better future under the theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”

Did you know? “Myaku” means “pulse” in Japanese which is essential of life itself. The mascot “Myaku-Myaku” represents the “life force” that flows through water and the Earth, symbolizing connection, rebirth and sustainability.
Myaku Myaku also witnessed the beauty of traditional Japanese archery in action by South Florida Kyudo Kai at their special demonstrations which explained the traditional art.
The South Florida Kyudo Kai is a non-profit dedicated to promoting the art of Japanese archery or kyudo. One Consul who practices kyudo also participated in the demonstration.
