Every year in Asia, during the Mid-Autumn Festival – also known as the Moon Festival. Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month and was celebrated this year on September 10th. The Mid-Autumn holiday is a harvest festival and a time of family reunion.

Mooncake is a Chinese bakery product traditionally only served during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The festival is about lunar appreciation and Moon watching, and mooncakes are regarded as a delicacy. Mooncakes are usually stival, and shared among family and friends as a symbol of wishing prosperity in the coming year. Mooncakes Symbolize Family Reunion. A full moon symbolizes prosperity and reunion for the whole family. The mooncake is a profound cultural tradition deep in people’s hearts, symbolizing a spiritual feeling.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival the luxury brands produced special packaging mooncake. Such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Gucci. The mooncake is not for sale but they are gifts to the companies’ partner and VIP customers. Each brand has unique designs in details, and these really are limited versions that money can’t buy!’
