A Night in Tokyo VI

The Japanese Club at the University of South Florida is proud to present its largest event of the year, A Night in Tokyo 6. On this night, Tokyo comes to the University of South Florida in the form of a grand cultural banquet. Guests will be treated to a unique dining experience and many authentic Japanese performances. Planned performances include:

-Taiko drumming by Tampa Taiko
-Original Shakuhachi Piece by Ron Collins
-J-pop dance performance by JKD Crew
-“Four Seasons” Fashion show hosted by The Japanese Club at USF
-USF Kendo
-Ikebana International St.Petersburg
-USF Aikido
-Samson Lu(!!!)

Aside from performances, there will also be numerous cultural exhibits for guests to view and experience.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between Western and Japanese cultures and increase global awareness and diversity to the Tampa Bay community. This year’s A Night in Tokyo will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST at the University of South Florida’s Marshall Student Center Ballroom. Doors open at 5:30 PM, yet we highly advise showing up at around 5PM to ensure seating! The attire is semi-formal, so come out in your most fancy attire! ^_^

Admission is free! So come out, eat all of our delicious food, and enjoy a great show we’ve worked hard to put on for you!

It is highly recommended that you show up early. There are no assigned seating arrangements; therefore seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
