————————–
Asian Kaleidoscope Month (AKM) is a month-long celebration of the histories, cultures, and contributions of Asians and Asian American students at the University of Florida. Started in 1992 under the Asian American Student Union (AASU) at UF, AKM aims to educate, inspire, and empower its attendees by bringing speakers, entertainment, and activities that are enjoyable for everyone.
The theme of AKM 2017 is REFLECTION. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of AKM, we aim to reflect on how much our community has achieved, learn from all the obstacles our predecessors have overcome, and finally, grow in understanding and enable the younger generation to continue to fight for their passions.
