World Tai Chi and Qigong Day (WTCQD) is an annual event celebrated on the last Saturday of April, dedicated to promoting the disciplines of T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Qigong across nearly eighty countries since its inception in 1999. This day invites participants of all skill levels—whether seasoned practitioners or newcomers—to engage in events that foster a sense of peace and community.

Starting from New Zealand, it will continue to travel through 60 countries on six continents, creating a wave of peace and positive energy across the earth, promoting Tai Chi culture, passing on the spirit of Tai Chi, and opening up Tai Chi fitness.
On April 26 at 10 am, approximately 200 individuals gathered in The Villages, Orlando, where local Tai Chi instructors and students hosted a vibrant celebration of World Tai Chi and Qigong Day.

The Orlando Han Qing Taiji Culture & Art Center is proud to support Asia Trend’s initiatives and various community events throughout Central Florida.
