A MORAL STORY – THE BOY AND THE HOVERBOARD

2259

Let us enjoy reading this story “The Boy And The Hoverboard”

One day a boy received a gift as he exactly wished for. It was a new hoverboard in a box. It was the latest model with all the new features and the boy was so excited to start and ride it.

In the first the boy tried to ride it he failed and fell on the ground. The boy tried again, only to fall once more. Again and again he tried, but in vain.

Now he sat down and looked at the hoverboard in disgust.

“What a fool I am,” he said. “Here I am wearing myself out to ride a stupid hoverboard that would not even work properly.”

And off he walked very, very scornfully.

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT!

Is this how you wish the story to end?

Another version of the story tells that after the first time the boy tried to ride the hoverboard, he tried again and again until he made it to ride the hoverboard. Later he learnt that there are many COOL tricks and maneuvers.

One day, when his father returned from work, he was impressed by the boy’s progress and being persistent and indefatigable and praised him for that. And father said, ‘This is your gift. You are the happiness, joy and light of our lives. All that we have is for you my love. And you are a passionate boy who doesn’t give up easily’.

The MORALS:

  • NEVER GIVE UP!
  • Treasure the things you get in life. You deserve them. They were meant for you and you for them.
  • There are many who pretend to despise and belittle that which is beyond their reach.

*Based on the fable “The Fox & the Grapes”,

THINK!

Can you think of a time when you really wanted to have something or someone and when you eventually got it; you didn’t know how to behave right, so you gave up on it or got very disappointed?

As we join together, forming networks of human concern about the future, we will find the strength and wisdom needed to create a better future for all.

Raising humanity on a new path

It all starts with YOU!

With playful regards,
