Neon Genesis Evangelion (EVA) is a Japanese popular anime series from the late 90’s that spawned a franchise including the development of several films, manga, and even video games.
Uniqlo sister brand GU has come together with the popular animation franchise to release apparel based on motifs introduced in the movies Evangelion: 1.0, Evangelion: 2.0 and Evangelion 3.0. The first series of the ‘Evangelion’ x GU collection released on March 12 on GU’s website and at their two Hong Kong stores. GU also recently collaborated with Kim Jones for a reissue of his archival pieces.
