Bento is a part of Japanese culture and is gaining popularity all over the world. It is not just a daily meal packed in a box, but sometimes it is art, other times is a place to express your feelings. Bento box is filled with joy and pleasure!

Packaging up lunch for children is an art form in some circles in Japan. Many Japanese mothers prepare bento box lunch for their kids and arrange the meal in a pleasing way. Traditional Japanese ingredients might be rice, pieces of fish and even seaweed. While your kids might shy away from having seaweed in their lunch, the idea of presenting your child’s lunch in a fun, creative way is sure to please!

One of those parents is a mom of two little children from Japan. This woman creates both adorable and delicious-looking meals that even adults crave. The woman is known as Riyu (り ゆ). She is raising one boy and one girl—who are lucky enough to eat colorful, cartoon character-inspired meals almost every day. Riyu shares the bento made for the kids on the Internet. Its exquisite level can reach an artistic level. Her Instagram account now has 66,000 fans.

Under her magical skills, various animated characters, such as “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”, “Crayon Shin-chan”, “Snoopy”, “Hello Kitty” and other works are perfectly presented in the bento box!
