In a blink of an eye, the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay (TCCTF) has turned ten. On June 21, the TCCTF held its 10th Annual Meeting at the Rusty Pelican Restaurant on the picturesque Rocky Point waterfront. Past presidents of TCCTF including Dr. Maywa Yei, Dr. Charles Wang, Mr. Robert Chen, and Mr. Wen Chung were present to celebrate this milestone.  Many old members returned to catch up with friends.  A delegation from the Orlando Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce also came to the annual meeting.

The current President Mr. Stan Chen opened the meeting by greeting the members and guests. He reviewed Chamber’s activities of the past year, and thanked the Directors who served their terms on the Board. As the guests enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch, the two keynote speakers drew their attention.

The first speaker was Mr. Y.Y. Yang from the PNC Bank. Mr. Y. Y. Pang talked about the number one concern of small businesses – finance and how PNC Bank’s small business loan program may be able to assist. The second speaker was Dr. Lowei Han from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. Dr. Han gave a humorous discussion of the origin of chronic soft tissue pain and stain. Dr. Han also gave hands-on illustrations of the pressure – point relief that the audience can administer to self, family and friends. His famous “three-seconds miracle” have the recipients cry in pain and beg for more. Who knew ancient Chinese remedies can be so much fun.

The event ended with the raffle drawings of multiple prizes donated by the Directors and  Advisors.   For more information and future events, please visit www.tcctf.org
