From Graphic Design to Zoo Animal Technology Santa Fe College prepares students for exciting and rewarding high-demand careers.

Santa Fe College located in Gainesville FLA., has been selected as one of the Top 10 Colleges in America by the Aspen Institute for a second time. The College has been recognized in the following four areas: 1) student learning, 2) certificate and degree completion, 3) high rates of employment and earnings for graduates, and 4) high levels of access and success for minority and lo w-income students.

SF offers more than 90 fast-track Career and Technical Education Programs and six bachelor’s degrees in the following professional areas: Business, Construction, Education, Emerging Technologies, Health Sciences, Information Technology and Public Safety.

All programs of study are designed so that our students can achieve success and meet their educational goals.

 

“The Nursing program here at Santa Fe College is filled with so many smart, knowledgeable, and talented professors. I feel so blessed to have such a great and caring team of professors,” nursing student Angela Phan said.

The college specializes in creating innovative programs that meet the ever-changing needs of employers according to the current business demands.

“Santa Fe students have the opportunity to earn both formal education credentials and nationally- recognized industry certifications, which can help them communicate their skills and abilities when applying for jobs,” John McNeely Associate Vice President for Career and Technical Education said.

Monica Cabrera, Diversity Recruitment Specialist for the Office of Career and Technical Education, is available to help students connect to the college.

“Santa Fe provides excellent educational opportunities for students who want to open doors for themselves that lead to fulfilling careers,” Cabrera said.

Guan Watson is studying Program Application Development and Program Web Development in the Information Technology Education program. She is pursuing one of the fastest-growing industries in the United States.

Phan compares her SF learning experience to a rewarding journey.

“Working hard equals success. This school has an exceptional Nursing Program and only expects the best because that is what you will expect from yourself. Santa Fe is not just a college, but an expedition in learning,” She said.
