The Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Temple of Orlando celebrated its 33rd anniversary with the community on November 2nd at the Colonial High School Auditorium. Many masters under Wah Lum Kung Fu system all over the United States came together to demonstrate the finest of Kung Fu that night. Students at different levels were all eager to show the audiences their skill and hard work with passion. The thrill and excitement for Kung Fu filled the whole auditorium.
Grandmaster Pui Chan, the 6th generation successor of the Wah Lum System and 33rd generation successor of the Shaolin Temple, China began teaching the traditional martial arts at the Central Florida area since 1980. His faith in Kung Fu and his strong kinship with other martial arts systems and organizations makes him become one of the most influential kung fu masters in the United States.
Partial proceeds from the show were donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As of today, Wah Lum has raised over $30,000 since 1997. For more information about Wah Lum Kung Fu Temple, please visit www.wahlum.com.
