“One-on-One With Don Bronto” at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa

As a revival of its Pop Concert Series Program, the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. proudly presents “One-on-One With Don Bronto” on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 7:30PM at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa, Florida. Don Bronto will be joined by Melizza Villanueva, MJ Sta. Ana, Connie Chanrasmi and Nhick Ramiro Pacis as guest artists.

Tampa Bay’s very own Don Bronto, is a former “Tawag ng Tanghalan” champion at PCFI’s Annual PhilFest and the current champion of “Largo Got Talent”. He has front acted famous Filipino singers like Pilita Corales, Imelda Papin, Joey Albert and Carol Banawa. He has also sung duets with Germany’s Miss Saigon, Stephanie Reese, Sheryn Regis and recently with Carol Banawa in a successful Valentine’s concert entitled “Music from the Heart” in February of 2015.

Don is a graduate of voice and concert performance at Center for Pop Music Philippines. He is known with his soothing baritone voice, singing songs of Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Nonoy Zuñiga, Basil Valdez, Martin Nievera, and Richard Poon.  He is also fond of singing oldies but goodies songs from Frank Sinatra, Matt Monroe, Elvis Presley, and Nat “King” Cole.

With a Master’s Degree in Nursing, he is currently a community health nurse coordinator at Bay Pines Veterans Administration Healthcare System. Actively committed to the Fil-Am community, he is a member of Philippine Nurses Association, Gulfcoast of Florida, Inc. He is also a regular choir member of St. Catherine of Siena’s 9 o’clock family mass and a member of the Philippine Choral Group. He is married to Geraldine Bronto who also works at the VA as registered nurse. They have two beautiful, talented children Joshua and Nikole.

Don is originally from Sta. Rosa Laguna Philippines.
