The annual “Sampaguita Charity Ball” will celebrate its 30th Anniversary on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, from 6-11 pm, at the grand hall of the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, Florida.

The Sampaguita ball is one of the biggest fundraising event organized by the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. (PCFI) with all proceeds going to the upkeep of the 10-acre Philippine Enrichment Complex and the 15,000 sq foot grand Bayanihan Arts and Events Center, owned and managed by the Filipino community of Tampa Bay. This will be the first time that the ball will be held in October in order to commemorate the Filipino American History Month of October.

This year’s theme is “Thirty Years of Elegance” and will strictly required all guests be dressed in formal attire in long Filipiniana or long evening gowns for the ladies and Barong Tagalog or Tuxedo for the men to avoid being ask to leave or change.

The $125 per person event will include complimentary valet parking, Deluxe Open Bar all night, seven-course Chinese Laureate dinner, a spectacular entertainment presented by the three cultural arms of PCFI, a live band and even a “Media Noche” of variety Philippine “kakanin” before the night is over.

This year’s joint chairmanship are Ma. Teresa Guerrero-Bissonnette, MD, Marly Balderama, and Nenita Sweet.

The event is by reservations only and payment is required upon booking. People are advised to book their seats or their tables of ten now before it gets sold out.

Business advertisements or personal greetings are now accepted at $160 per full
color page for the Sampaguita Ball souvenir program. Tax Deductible donations are also accepted as the foundation is a 501c3 cultural organization.
