PHILFEST 2018 Returns on April 6

Now in its 24th year, “PhilFest 2018” will take place on April 6th, 7th and 8th. The festival is now considered as one of the biggest, if not the biggest, in the whole of East Coast if not in America. Last years attendance hit more than 11, 000 people. 

PhilFest offers variety of Filipino foods, non-stop entertainment, Philippine folk dances, street parades, cultural exhibits, singing and dancing competitions and much more. One of the most popular food in the festival worth lining up for hours are the fried “carioca balls” made of sweet rice. Coming to PhilFest is like going to the Philippines without the 21 hours flight and experiencing the Filipino hospitality they are known for. 

The 3-day festival starts at 5 pm to 11 pm on Friday, April 6th, on Saturday, April 7th from 10 am to 11 pm, and on Sunday, April 8th from 10 am to 11 pm. Entrance is only $7 per person. Children 5 years and under enter free as well as veteran’s and servicemen with valid ID also enter free of charge.

“PhilFest” is an annual event organize by the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. (PCFI) a none profit cultural foundation whose purpose is to preserve the Philippine culture for future Filipino-American generations to come.
