The Alishan Forest Railway came out with the Formosensis train, which is made with the wood of Taiwan red cypress tree and has leather seats.
Trial runs of the train begins in March, so hurry along to sit by the windows and enjoy the fresh air filled with phytoncides and also see the famous Alishan sunrise and “sea of clouds.”
